ESPARGARÓ TENTH AT THE FINISH, VIÑALES RETIRES
It was a difficult race for Aprilia Racing at Aragón; after an opaque sprint, Aleix and Maverick were unable to improve their performance in the long race due to a lack of grip, which put the riders in extreme difficulty.

#41 ALEIX ESPARGARÒ
P11 (NC SPRINT)
"We couldn't get the tires to work. It was a difficult race, and I focused more on how to avoid crashing than on performance. It was even hard to getmy knee down, I couldn't even lean the bike. It's a strange and new situation for us, hard to accept. We need to understand what happened."

#12 MAVERICK VIÑALES
NC (P19 SPRINT)
"We had trouble getting the tires to work; it felt like we were going to crash on every corner, especially with the rear tire. It was a complicated weekend for Aprilia and for me, because after the good performances on Friday, things stopped working."
